Overview

The BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) in Artificial Intelligence program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science principles, programming, and specialized knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence. This program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to leverage AI technologies for solving complex problems and developing intelligent systems. Students are likely to gain proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python and R. The program often includes hands-on experience with popular AI tools and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Practical application is emphasized through project work, allowing students to implement AI solutions, work on real-world problems, and build a portfolio of projects. Some programs may incorporate internships or industrial training, providing students with real-world exposure to AI applications in various industries.

The program offers two main tracks:

(i) a 3-year undergraduate degree and
(ii) a 4-year undergraduate degree with Honours, emphasizing research.
