Animation

Eligibility

A student who has passed Level 4 / Class 12 schooling (either through formal schooling or through the open school system) or its equivalent shall be eligible for admission to B.Sc. programmes.

However, students who have not studied requisite courses from the discipline related to the respective programmes will have to undertake the prescribed bridge course(s).


Overview

B.Sc. Animation is a three-year undergraduate programme providing students with the knowledge and skills to become successful animators. The BSc animation courses focus on the fundamentals of Animation & VFX, such as character design, storyboarding, 3D Modelling, and Animation techniques. Students learn how to create and animate characters, objects, and environments for film, television, video games, and other forms of digital media. The programme also covers digital video editing, sound design, VFX and interactive media. Upon completing the BSc animation courses, students will be prepared to work as animators, directors, and producers in the animation industry.
